TME Travel Insurance provides medical evacuation coverage to your hospital of choice in the U.S. or Canada with no out of pocket costs. Enjoy peace of mind in knowing that if you are hospitalized with a serious or critical medical emergency and need medical transport, TME Travel Insurance is there for you.

NOTE: MexVisit® Travel Medical Evacuation Insurance is not included with our Six-Month, Annual, and driver's license MexVisit® plans. More extensive policies are available for our six-month or annual Mexico plans, and for trips anywhere in the world.

If you are admitted to a hospital with a serious or critical illness and seeking possible medical evacuation, please proceed as indicated below.

Whether you are the beneficiary or calling on behalf of the beneficiary, please have the following information available:

Our provider will then take further steps to secure additional medical information through doctors and hospital administrators to complete a comprehensive medical assessment that will help determine the needs of the patient and when appropriate, arrange and provide such an evacuation.

TME Travel Insurance Air Evacuation Services

Medical Evacuation transport services are managed by our preferred provider Air Ambulance Worldwide, utilizing a highly accredited network of CAMTS (Commission on Accreditation of Medical Transport Systems) and EURAMI (European Aeromedical Institute) accredited air ambulance providers for your care. Due to the nature of the services, a reasonable period of time and diligence is required to properly initiate a medical evacuation transport. All arrangements made for medical evacuation services must be made and approved through TME Travel Insurance and its provider. TME Travel Insurance is not responsible for any charges or expenses incurred without our prior authorized written approval.

Exclusions

TME Travel Insurance medical evacuation coverage is not available to persons age 75 years and older.
Travel Medical Evacuation insurance is NOT included with our Six-Month and Annual MexVisit® plans. However, for a small fee you can purchase Travel Medical Evacuation coverage for a six-month or annual policy.
